RAW Cacao: the food of the goddesses that embraces you from the inside
Cocoa isn't just for kids. It's a superfood for the soul, heart, and women's health - and it tastes best in a Christmas cup☕
Cocoa: the food of the goddesses that embraces you from the inside out
Cocoa… the very word melts on the tongue like a memory of safety. But we are not talking about the overly sweet drink from childhood. No! We are talking about real, unadulterated cocoa – a brown miracle that entire civilizations have worshipped long before us. And we women 50+? We know very well that we save some tastes for more mature times. That is why the time is right start drinking cocoa consciously. As a ritual. And as medicine. And as the love you give to yourself!
From cocoa tree to cup: the journey of Bobek Kakaový
In the beginning there was a bean. And that bean, the cocoa bean, traveled from warm regions to our winter kitchens. Hidden in a pod on the trunk of the Theobroma cacao tree – a divine tree whose fruits are a true gift to us goddesses.
Cocoa beans are fermented, dried, roasted (or not, if you want the raw version), ground – and then turned into cocoa, cocoa butter or liquor. And if you choose high-quality, non-alkalized cocoa? You get a drink full of antioxidants, minerals and love 💖

What you'll find in cocoa (and what will make you happy)
This dark brown goodness is superfood with a capital S or K– as you wish 😉 It has an anti-inflammatory effect, strengthens the heart, brain and immunity – and also gives you a pleasant „kick“ without the jitters from caffeine. What exactly can it do?
For the heart and blood vessels❤️
- It reduces pressure, improves blood flow and protects blood vessels from inflammation.
- It contains flavanols, which support the activity of nitric oxide - which protects you from clots and heart attacks.
For the brain and mood 🧠
- Contains phenylethylamine (the one that washes out when we're in love😍).
- Tryptophan helps create serotonin – the feel-good hormone.
- Theobromine stimulates the mind, but at the same time it doesn't throw you off balance.
On cells and longevity 🧬
- Polyphenols protect DNA and activate sirtuins – substances that prevent aging.
- They have an effect on regeneration, cell protection and reduction of inflammation.
For hormones, nerves and soul 🧘♀️
- Magnesium helps with fatigue, cramps, and a disturbed psyche.
- Cocoa is mild stimulant – it won't weigh you down like coffee, but it will give you energy.
Chocolate or cocoa? And why choose the latter?
While chocolate is a seductive lover, cocoa is a reliable friend. Chocolate can tempt you, but it can also weigh you down with sugar, milk, and chemical additives. Cocoa is pure. Without embellishment. And it is in that purity that its strength lies.
Moreover – the more processing (e.g. alkalization), the less healthy it is. So: the rawer and more natural the cocoa, the better for you.
When cocoa helps women
Not only will it kick-start you and calm you down at the same time, but:
- Helps during PMS, hormonal fluctuations and menopause.
- Supports digestion and microbiome – as a prebiotic.
- Protects teeth and skin – thanks to antioxidants.
- It works aphrodisiacally – not only chemically, but also in the head 😉

Want to turn cacao into a ritual? Here's a traditional recipe that the Aztecs drank:
You will need:

- a can of coconut milk
- vanilla, cinnamon, chili, star anise… whatever you like
How to do it:
- Heat the coconut milk and melt the butter in it.
- Add cocoa – the more, the stronger the drink.
- Season with spices, stir and… breathe. Drink slowly. Feel.
And feel free to sing or dance along. Kakao understands.

Cocoa & candles 🕯️
Try a "cocoa evening" - cocoa, blanket, lights and a moment without your phone. Just you and peace.
Homemade choco-meat 🍫

Cocoa cuisine: how to incorporate cocoa into your life
- Add to smoothies, porridge, yogurt or granola.
- Sprinkle cocoa beans on dessert or yogurt.
- Use it in baking (not Dutch cocoa, but raw or organic).
- Try homemade chocolate made only from cocoa, butter and honey.

There is no cocoa like cocoa. So which one to choose?
Dutch cocoa it's beautifully dark and subtle – but also poor in antioxidants. For health, reach for:
- Raw cocoa – unroasted, unalkalized, full of nutrients.
- Crushed cocoa beans – ideally in organic quality.
- Unalkalized chocolate – without interventions, with a maximum of substances.
Summary: Cocoa isn't just a flavor. It's a choice.
It's a choice to say to yourself: I deserve the best. And sometimes the best doesn't come in a shiny package, but in a simple mug with something that embraces you from the inside.
Cocoa is not just the food of the gods – It is the food of the goddess that is YOU❣💖
