Cinnamon: the spice that warms, heals and awakens the soul
Cinnamon isn't just for strudel. It's a magical spice that embraces you when the cold gets to your bones.
Cinnamon mmmmmm 😍
We all have something that brings us back a sense of security in winter. For me, it's the smell of cinnamon. As if someone were whispering "everything will be okay" - only in a warmer, more fragrant form. So, of course, I've been adding it to my coffee since the first cold days 😉 It's a fragrant, luxurious pre-Christmas coffee! I love– A little ritual that will warm the soul❣
Now imagine: It's December, the windows are dewy, you have a blanket, a hot drink - and a pinch of cinnamon is lazily melting in it. And not just because of the taste. But because Cinnamon is more than a spice. It is a small miracle that has thousands of years of wisdom in it.

What can cinnamon do?
According to traditional Chinese medicine, cinnamon strengthens the heart, kidneys, liver, and spleen. But don't worry, this isn't an anatomy lecture. It's more of a gentle reminder of what this golden beauty can do for you:
- Warms up – to shivering souls and cold feet.
- Supports immunity – when something is „crawling“ on you.
- Helps with fatigue and exhaustion – and that we know it.
- Natural antibiotic – without side effects.
- Supports digestion, expectoration, blood circulation.
- Helps with colds and minor infections.
- Reduces sugar and cholesterol – gently, but effectively.
- Has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects.
And yeah – Cinnamon is also a sorceress. But we'll get to that.
A little warning (because I only want you well)
Not all cinnamon is the same. The real one is called Ceylonese. It has a mild taste, is gentle on the body – and once you taste it, you will never go back to cassia (Chinese cinnamon). The cheaper option can strain the liver and increase blood pressure.
And be careful – it is not suitable for:
- pregnant women
- children under 2 years old
- people with very high blood pressure
- during acute inflammation, fever, sore throat
The Phoenix and the Cinnamon Nest: A Legend That Caresses 🕊️
In ancient Egypt, they believed that when the mythical bird Phoenix grew old, it would build a a nest of cinnamon, myrrh and frankincense. And there – in the rays of the sun – it will burn. From its ashes a new, young Phoenix will be born. More beautiful. Wiser. Stronger.
And you know what? I believe it. Not literally – but figuratively. Because how many times have we had to „burn“ to get back up? And cinnamon… can be our nest.
Cinnamon birds and the crazy marketing of antiquity 🏛
Aristotle claimed that there were „cinnamon birds“ that built nests out of whole cinnamon branches. And people would shoot lead arrows at the trees to knock them down and get the precious spice.
According to Pliny the Elder, the whole thing was invented by merchants – so they could sell cinnamon for exorbitant sums. But even if so – what is this herb that has become the subject of legends, wars and mysteries? Yeah, exactly. Cinnamon.
Magic, rituals and small home charms ✨
I believe that some things we don't need to understand with reason. Just smell it. And cinnamon has something in it... attractive.
Full Moon Abundance Ritual 🍂
Sprinkle a pinch of ground cinnamon at the entrance. Don't say anything. Just imagine that life itself is inviting you to abundance.
Cinnamon water for mopping 🧹
Add a few drops of cinnamon oil to water and wipe your apartment with it. It is said that this will open up a space of wealth.
Prepayment ritual (yes, that exists too) 💸
Five days before your payday – take pumpkin spice (cinnamon, cloves, allspice), sprinkle it on a bill, and wave it in front of the door.
Then rub the same spice on your feet. For joy. Abundance. And for that moment when you want to be trusted ❤💖
.
How to use cinnamon – my cozy tips

Warm up your feet 🧦
Mix 1 drop of cinnamon oil with 10 ml of carrier oil (coconut, almond) and apply to your feet. Ideally before going to bed or before going out into the winter.
Fragrance for diffuser 🌬️
1 drop cinnamon + 4 drops bergamot. Or orange. A complete Christmas mood. The kind that hugs you and doesn't let go.
For food 🥣
Morning porridge, cocoa, baked apples, chia pudding. Anywhere you want a little warmth. But remember – less is more. You are not a strudel. . . for a coffee of course ❣❤
Summary: Cinnamon is more than a spice
It's the scent of childhood. A symbol of goodness. A healing power we may have taken for granted. But now—as we learn to trust our bodies and inner guidance again—it can become a kind ally.
Mini action plan:
- Today: add a pinch of cinnamon to your food or tea.
- Tomorrow: diffuse her scent around the apartment.
- During the full moon: invite abundance to yourself – with spices too.
