And do you know what she said? &quot;Czechs say what they think, they speak plainly - they are not mean or rude, they just don&#039;t put honey around your mouth.&quot;\u201e<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-advanced-heading uagb-block-76b07e3e\"><h2 class=\"uagb-heading-text\">Czechs take off their shoes at home and take a bath in the evening. Because we, Slavs, have a built-in radar for falsehood and hypocrisy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We are simply a nation that:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>He doesn&#039;t say &quot;Have a nice day!&quot; with a fake smile, but &quot;Hello!&quot; and he means it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He&#039;d rather say &quot;Hey, this is worth it&quot; than &quot;Amazing job, honey!&quot;\u201e<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And yes \u2013 we take off our shoes because having dirt from the street in bed is simply disgusting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Image over reality? No thanks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Americans have a culture of &quot;image over reality.&quot; Everything has to be <em>positive, shiny, exciting<\/em>...even though they&#039;re crying at home about the bills. As for us? We can easily scold each other, but we&#039;ll pick it up again tomorrow and move on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>That&#039;s not pessimism. That&#039;s resilience and reality!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201e&quot;We can&#039;t be perpetually smiling dolls, pretending that everything is fine when we see that it&#039;s not. And we don&#039;t want to be smiling like a pig all the time!&quot; And you know what?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This is precisely our strength.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why the American facade doesn&#039;t work here<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Because when someone tells us that &quot;all you have to do is want it and everything will work out,&quot; we immediately resort to common sense:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201e&quot;Sure, what if my supplier gets fired, my husband gets sick, and the bank lifts the mortgage? Is it enough to just want it?&quot;\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We don&#039;t live in a fairy tale. <em>\u201e&quot;fake it till you make it.&quot;\u201c<\/em>. A number of studies from American universities describe the phenomenon of forced, so-called toxic positivity as a cultural norm: you don&#039;t really care about anyone, the main thing is to smile, function and not disturb. Negative emotions are not welcome, fatigue is hidden behind phrases and authenticity is considered a weakness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For women, this pressure is even stronger \u2013 society expects them to be constantly helpful, optimistic and emotionally available. The result is a false facade of \u201eeverything is fine\u201c that has nothing to do with inner reality and leads to burnout, anxiety and alienation from oneself in the long run. It\u2019s not joy. It\u2019s Stepford Wives 2.0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">And why women over 50 in the Czech Republic are met with silence<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a sentence that is repeated in the Western world with almost religious certainty: <em>fake it till you make it<\/em>. It&#039;s what coaches, marketers, influencers, managers, and advertisers say. In America, it almost sounds like a life strategy. Fake success until you make it. Act confident even when you don&#039;t feel it. Play the part - reality will adjust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But then this sentence lands in the Czech Republic. And especially among women over fifty.<br>And nothing happens. No excitement. No \u201ewow.\u201c Just a slight, cold smile and silence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Different experience, different immunity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Women over 50 in our country are not cynical. They are experienced.<br>They have gone through regimes, changes, promises that didn&#039;t hold true, and truths that hurt. They have seen things said out loud and done quietly. They have learned to read between the lines. And most importantly \u2013 they have learned to recognize when there is emptiness behind the words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Western marketing is based on impression. On energy. On selling the feeling that <em>If you talk, dress and think like this, you will become a better person.<\/em>.<br>But a Slavic woman after fifty doesn&#039;t live in impressions. She lives in reality. And reality has a memory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u201e&quot;Fake it&quot; hits the Central European wall<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In our part of the world, authenticity has a different meaning. Not as a pose, but as a result. Not &quot;put on a strong face&quot;, but <em>Be strong or be silent.<\/em>. Not &quot;say you know&quot;, but <em>show that you know<\/em>. And if you don&#039;t know, just admit it. That&#039;s always more appreciated than a self-confident lie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Therefore, a saying like <em>fake it till you make it<\/em> It sounds suspicious to us. It reminds me of rain peddlers. Lots of words, little content. Lots of emotions, no responsibility. And women who have already experienced something don&#039;t have time for that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Advertising without value ends in silence<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Western advertising is noisy. It shouts: <em>You have to, right now, or you&#039;ll miss something.<\/em>.<br>But for a woman over 50 in the Czech Republic, almost nothing escapes her. She knows what she has. She knows what she doesn&#039;t need. And she knows that true value cannot be imposed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When a product, idea, or direction has no added value, it doesn&#039;t get anger or resistance. It gets something much worse \u2013 ignore. Silence. Icy calm. But because we are ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Away from illusions. Away from empty words. Away from pretense. Women over fifty in the Czech Republic don&#039;t need anyone to tell them who they should be. They already know it. And if they accept something, it&#039;s only because it has stood the test of time, experience, and life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And this is exactly where the West often stumbles.<br>Because <a href=\"https:\/\/cs.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Reklama\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>You can&#039;t fool a Slavic woman 50+ with hype advertising<\/strong>.<\/a> When there&#039;s nothing behind it, you just get that quiet smile. And then no one listens to you anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And that is perhaps the greatest freedom,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What about it? Be authentic<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When you do content, business, communication \u2013 anything \u2013 you cannot and must not make content in the style of \u201eeverything is beautiful\u201c. Your strength is in being real, raw and civil\u2763<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Women will trust you because you don&#039;t talk to them like children, but like equal women who they already know.,<a href=\"https:\/\/velkeholky.org\/en\/umeni-mit-veci-u-prdele-manifest-bohyne\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"> that the world is not a place of bling.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-advanced-heading uagb-block-71fb96d2\"><h2 class=\"uagb-heading-text\">In conclusion: Being Slavic is a gift<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>We don&#039;t have to smile at the whole world. Keep them.<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>We can do with our common sense, a little irony and the ability to tell things as they are. You can see that in commercials. What works in the West \u2013 overheated enthusiasm, colorful happiness and the cry \u201eI want it and I have to have it now\u201c \u2013 will not work for Czechs, Slovaks, Poles or Russians. It will rather cause a cold detachment, because Slavic women do not waste emotions or smiles and give them away only where it makes sense \u2013 we are not high school cheerleaders \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>And you know what?
