Aries with Virgo rising, two cats, and a ton of energy \ud83d\ude09<\/u> \ud83d\ude09<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m a woman and a mom. Above all, I\u2019m an Aries! I love the world of magic, video games, rock music, technology, and feminine power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And even though I love people, sometimes I need to be completely alone. That divine silence, when I can hear only myself.<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Imagine being on a rollercoaster \u2013 one that pulls you up to the heavens just to throw you down headfirst \u2013 welcome to my world! I\u2019m an Aries. Hot-blooded, restless, fiery, and yet absurdly cheerful. Doesn\u2019t make sense? Oh, but it does! With Virgo rising, I get the gift of spotting mistakes everywhere \u2013 even in myself. Perfect? Not a chance. Fascinated by imperfections? Absolutely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My two black cats \u2013 magical guides \u2013 recharge my life energy. One more, and I will be like Freya, the goddess of love, beauty, harvest\u2026 But honestly? Maybe I would prefer a dog, to balance the universe. Three children, of whom I am incredibly proud, make the best company in life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Age is just a number \u2013 at least for me!<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Even though the mirror tries to convince me that ...my \u201c-teen\u201d years have long been replaced by \u201c-ties\u201d (as in fifties, sixties\u2026), my soul doesn\u2019t think so. In my head, I still feel like a mischievous girl \u2013 only now I have more courage to speak my mind and (usually) more wisdom to say it gracefully. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aging sometimes gets on my nerves, but I\u2019m still fighting it \u2013 I exercise, wear makeup (not enough), explore anti-aging and stocks, and I play computer games. Not Tetris or solitaire \u2013 real action stuff that keeps the brain sharp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, I love people and my friends, but sometimes (often!) I need to be completely alone. That divine peace when I can only hear myself. I don't have to talk, just listen to music, write or play... An introvert in an extrovert's body - do you know that? An element on the outside, but inside sits that quiet girl who wants peace \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have three adult children that I love and am proud of \u2013 probably like every mother! I guess I'm not lucky with partners, or Linda is just right (of course, Goodmann) \u2026 I'm not exactly the partner type! Probably because it's most often women in Aries who are alone \u2013 they prefer to be alone \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does astrology say? <\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n

And as the favorite writes Linda Goodman \u2013 Linda Goodman \u2013 Sun Sign About a Woman Aries:<\/a> \"When Byron wrote that \u2018Love is separate from a man\u2019s life but is a woman\u2019s entire existence,\u2019 he forgot the Aries woman. She may think love is her entire existence, but she's far too fascinated by the world around her (not to mention herself) to let love define her life. She can do without a man more easily than any other woman you'll meet. Anything he can do, she can do better \u2013 at least she thinks so.\"<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This girl opens her own doors. She puts on her coat, hails the cab, lights her own cigarette, and fights her own battles \u2013 no man required. Doing it herself just seems faster. Of course, this doesn\u2019t always flatter the fragile male ego.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m deeply fascinated by the world around me \u2013 I\u2019m interested in everything from politics (which we will firmly avoid on this blog!) to cars!\nI\u2019ve gone through different life stages: from a shy little girl to a rocker, a passionate gamer (WoW forever!), a phase of magic, rituals, tarot and runes, to studying astrology\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My two black cats \u2013 magical companions \u2013 recharge my life energy. One more and I\u2019ll become Freya, the goddess of love, beauty, and fertility\u2026 Although honestly? I might prefer a dog, just to balance out the universe. I have three children I\u2019m incredibly proud of \u2013 they\u2019re the best life company I could ever wish for.<\/h4><\/div>\n\n\n\n

As I grow older, I\u2019ve become more drawn to longevity, healthy living, nutrition, supplements, and all those beautiful brakes on aging! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I want to age with grace and charm, stay healthy and vibrant for as long as I possibly can.\nI want to fully enjoy this new chapter of life \u2013 and if I can pass on even a bit of my unshakable optimism to other women, that would make me truly happy<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My \"flaws\" \u2013 if you can call them that \ud83d\ude09<\/strong><\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve got two terrible habits\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1\/ Commenting on everything \ud83d\ude09<\/strong> \ud83d\ude09<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n

As my friend Dana says: \u201cOh god, I know you\u2019ve read about it somewhere! Do you really need to know everything?\u201d\nWell\u2026 apparently yes. Some kind of obsession? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2\/ Brutal honesty \ud83d\ude0a<\/strong> \ud83d\ude0a<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Colleague Sandra once told me: \u201cWhen I need to cry, I call the girls. But when I want the truth \u2013 I call you. No sugarcoating, just the plain facts!\u201d\nWhich, to be honest, not everyone sees as a good thing\u2026\n\u201cCan\u2019t you say it a bit more gently?\u201d\nLike what???\nWhat\u2019s wrong with saying, \u201cNope, that really doesn\u2019t suit you!\u201d\nI just don\u2019t do fluff. She asked if it looked good \u2013 I said \u201cNo, definitely not!\u201d\nI can\u2019t do the whole \u201cYeah, it\u2019s nice, but\u2026\u201d followed by blah blah blah.\nWell\u2026 that\u2019s just me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, how did I end up writing then?<\/h2><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes fate chooses for us.\nAfter a serious ankle injury and multiple surgeries, I spent nearly a year mostly at home, barely moving.\nInstead of falling apart, I started to write. To write about women and for women!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to artificial intelligence \u2013 my unexpected tech-savvy ally \u2013 I was able to overcome the early web hurdles and finally start sharing my thoughts with you.\nI can walk better now, but it's not like before \u2013 no more jumping over puddles (and probably never again).\nBut I haven\u2019t lost hope or optimism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe everything has a purpose. Every path leads somewhere.\nMine took me from a hectic life full of jobs and obligations\u2026 right here \u2013 to writing.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because I'm not of retirement age (although I have years of work experience - also a paradox!), work is "no and no" - well, with that age and that leg... \u201e"We are a young team!"\u201c <\/strong>It's not easy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Still, I believe that even the biggest setbacks should push us forward \u2013 as women, as humans.<\/h4><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Why do I write?<\/strong>?<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I created the \u201cBig Girls\u201d blog because it breaks my heart when women my age \u2013 beautiful, strong, incredible women \u2013 say things like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re not old here. Here, we learn, explore, laugh, fight, shine \u2013 and most importantly, we LIVE!<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n

write book summaries, news from the world of tech, AI, health, and beauty \u2013 because I don\u2019t want women 50+ to suddenly wake up one day and realize they don\u2019t even understand how to use an ATM.\nOr that they neglected prevention and now suddenly can\u2019t... anything!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I want us to be beautiful, healthy, smart \u2013 and yes, a little wild and misunderstood.\nBecause this world, the one trying to overlook us, is still beautiful.\nAnd there\u2019s still so much to discover \u2013 in it, and in us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I'm drawn to ancient wisdom that\u2019s survived centuries \u2013 and the new kind, coming from chips and algorithms.
Because I believe a woman\u2019s true power lies in that connection \u2013 between the stars and the keyboard. between the stars and the keyboard<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love life \u2013 with everything that comes with it!<\/h3><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Life fascinates me. I love when there's a little magic in it \u2013 cards, horoscopes, rituals. Sometimes I stare at the full moon and get emotional over the beauty of the world. Other times, I pour a glass of wine, blast rock music, and just soak in the fact that I'm here, now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And you know what? I'm grateful.\nFor my family, for the rollercoaster that made me stronger, and for the little mysteries of the universe that keep me curious.\n\u201cI color my life in pink \u2013 my own shade of it.\u201d\nAnd I believe that when I\u2019m happy with myself, the rest will align on its own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
