Blood Moon, Spring Cleaning, and a Little Cosmic Slap

Lunar eclipse on March 3, 2026 at 12:37 p.m. - what does it actually mean for us women who have already experienced more than enough?

The March full moon has a name – it's called the Crow. It will happen March 3 at 12:37 Central European Time and at the same time it will come as a total lunar eclipse. The crow's croaking has always marked the end of winter - the temperature rises, the snow melts, the first flowers, insects, earthworms appear... life simply awakens. And even though astronomical spring has not officially begun yet, this full moon is already calling it. Loud!

I'm not exactly the type to light incense sticks and whisper to the sky every full moon.

But this – this March 3rd – it’s going to be different. It’s going to be like… like someone putting their hand on your shoulder and saying, „Let’s sit down and talk now.“ And you know you can’t put it off until another time.

A total lunar eclipse in Virgo. It might sound like a headline from an esoteric magazine that you bought, read the first page, and then forgot in the waiting room. But this time I'm not going to put it off. Because what's happening with this eclipse – I can really feel it. And I bet you too❣

This eclipse is no lone wolf. It is the third and final in a series of Blood Moons that began in March 2025. A trinity that functions as such an initiation process – the first opens the topic, the second shakes up the structure, the third brings closure. And the climax. The third – that’s us, now, here❣

What started to develop in you sometime in the spring of 2025? What got to you then? What relationship, what situation, what decision still burns you to this day? Well, really – close your eyes and remember. Because this is exactly what is reaching a breaking point now.

Virgo – the sign under whose influence this eclipse is taking place – is the archetype of the one who distinguishes. What is pure, what is superfluous. What serves, what only hinders. And honestly, it was hell to admit it – but I myself have been carrying things around lately that have long since ceased to serve. Beliefs about what I „have to“, habits that I told myself „it will pass“, and relationships that made me feel smaller than I am.

Virgo shows us the mistakes we have overlooked so far. Relationships that don't work. Habits that are harmful to us. I won't let that happen, I tell myself – and yet I know it's true. Because those things are there. We just didn't want to look at them.

This is a different kind of spring cleaning. Not the one with the bucket and detergent. But the one where we sit down, look inside ourselves and say: What else is doing here? And why can't I just get rid of it? Why am I bothering with it and dealing with it!!!

What is healthy about you? I mean really healthy – not what you tell the doctor and what you tell yourself in front of the mirror. Your diet, your thoughts, the way you talk about yourself. Can you relax, or do you have this compulsive need to be in control – and then you wonder why your back hurts and you can't sleep?

Do you perceive the important details of your life? And can you see the bigger picture at the same time – why are things the way they are? What you really can't digest – and I'm not leaving it to the last minute. Because, trust me, it's not worth it.

These are not questions for a test. They are questions that this energy of this season has placed in my lap – and I continue to pass them on to you. Because I think each of us knows how to answer them. We just haven't admitted it out loud yet.

The energy of this day is referred to as „"karmic reboot"“ – and I love that expression, even if it sounds a bit grandiose. What it actually means is simple and brutally honest: what wasn't meant to grow, dies. What wasn't meant to survive, crumbles. What was on top without a real foundation, falls.

And what is supposed to endure? What is supposed to endure will gain new strength. Something new will be born. Phoenixes will rise from the ashes – and this image seems cut out for us, women over fifty. Because we know – what it is to rise again.

This period – encourages us to let go of the desire for perfection. For recognition. For clinging to things that have long outlived their purpose. And that comes as a huge relief to me, because – let's face it – how much has the desire to "be perfect" cost us in life?

We won't see the eclipse - unfortunately. But the energy is here, and it doesn't just happen at night under the stars. It happens within us, in those quiet moments when we feel something closing. When we have that strange feeling that the end of a chapter is near.

Clarity in personal and professional relationships. Closing chapters that have already served their purpose. Other signs have a chance to clarify their responsibilities, set healthier boundaries, and return to what has real meaning.

– lighter diet, less caffeine, more water. The body is more sensitive. And most importantly – let's not make ourselves saviors. Virgo can be incredibly critical, especially of themselves. So let's say out loud today: "I don't have to be perfect." Just don't. And that's okay.

will most affect those of us with a strong Virgo presence – that is, the Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars… or perhaps the Ascendant. (Yes, even those of you with an ASC in Virgo will feel it more.) It is an energy that intensifies the need to put things in order – in the body, in the head, and in our daily routine.

and Pisces, because they are opposite – there the theme of illusions and reality can suddenly become clear. Gemini and Sagittarius may feel a slight tension or the need to reconsider plans. And the earth signs, Taurus and Capricorn, on the other hand, may feel the stability and practical strength to finally finish something.

But you know what? The full moon always touches each of us. Just differently. Somewhere more in emotions, somewhere more in the body, somewhere in work or relationships. And if you have any personal planet in Virgo – or maybe like me, an Ascendant – it's like this moon is shining right into your eyes. Not harshly. More brightly.

And sometimes clarity is enough. 💜

Suddenly, that moment can come – the „last conversation,“ a deep inner decision, an understanding of why certain relationships, situations, or beliefs had to end. And that understanding is a gift. Not a slap. Even if sometimes the slap comes first.

Although the whole process can be intense—and believe me, there were times in those days when I felt like I was climbing a mountain without oxygen—its spiritual goal is to make room for a new story. Your story.

And I think our stories – the stories of women who have been through a lot, survived various cosmic and earthly storms, and yet are still here – are the most powerful.
