January 2026: When the Universe Touches Home (and Heart)

January. The month when tea with orange smells, but also comes balancing and (not always welcome) challenges.

And what we lack, on the contrary. Inside. In the soul. In the home. And maybe even in love.

I've always been fascinated by how "up there" speaks to what we feel inside. Not as a prediction. But as an echo. And this year, that echo sounds deeper somehow. I myself feel it differently this year than before. Deeper. Maybe it's the planets - and maybe it's simply because I already know what I want to hear from myself. In this article, I want to show you what January 2026 really brings us - and how you can ride this wave calmly and strongly.

A theme of home, care, and emotional bonds. Emotions will be strong. You may cry or laugh – but something inside you will say „"Enough, I don't want to drag this out any longer."“

And I felt as if someone had turned on a light in my house – but not a light bulb, more like a memory. The emotions came without me inviting them. Maybe it happened to you too – a tightness in your chest, a memory of someone you loved. A longing for peace. For safety. For something that can’t be bought, but can be found again.

For me personally, the full moon touched the bottom of my relationship with my family. Not in the sense of "who talks to whom and who doesn't", but what home actually is. means. Who creates it? And where do I belong?

After the full moon, the Moon joins Jupiter retrograde in Cancer. Things we have suppressed for a long time suddenly want to come out. This is a time for wishes and visions that have not been heard. This is a time when dreams we have forgotten will be heard. Perhaps as a sudden desire to write. Or the question „where do I belong?“ Allow yourself to voice these questions – even if only in your mind. Let them live.

At the end of 2025, the Black Moon moved into the sign of Sagittarius, where it will stay with us for nine full months. Sagittarius is about expansion, about foreign countries, authorities and faith. It is a seeker of truth. And the Black Moon in it? It begins to uncompromisingly open up questions of our personal freedom and inner convictions.

Perhaps you are dealing with official matters, the stability of your home, or the health of women in your family, and you feel uncertain about it. This is a time when we learn to say things directly and not be limited by what „the world expects of us.“ Where we used to believe something without a doubt, now we want to know our own truth, not the accepted one.

Black Moon in the 3rd House: When Words Hurt (or Heal)

Because this transiting Black Moon in Sagittarius hit me right in the third house, I noticed it almost immediately. Not astrologically, but humanly. I started to be much more sensitive to words. To the sentences I say. And even more so to the ones I hear.

Something like an old fear has emerged in me – that if I tell the truth (the Sagittarius, direct one!), I will lose the relationship, friends and maybe something more. The third house is about communication and thinking. With the Black Moon, it all rises like the wind before a storm. Suddenly you hear even what used to be silent. You have two options – either withdraw or name it.

This constellation brought me courage. To start saying things differently. Slower. And maybe more truthfully. Even though it hurts sometimes, it's the path to the self-sufficient and independent Goddess that each of us is.

Time for a new plan. But not a chaotic one – Capricorn wants discipline and direction. If you start something right now, it has a chance to grow into a solid foundation. That's a different energy. Solid. Responsible. Anchored. Capricorn doesn't paint butterflies, he builds foundations. And because this new moon falls in my 4th house, I feel it all the more – at home. In my body. And in my family. And in the theme of safety and stability.
All it takes is calm, paper, a pencil and a simple question: „"What do I want to build on this year?"“ This is a new moon when it makes sense to start over – but differently. Slower. Consciously.

At the end of January 2026, the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars and Pluto will meet in the sign of Aquarius. An exceptionally strong concentration of energies will arise, opening a completely new chapter for humanity and our inner direction. Aquarius is a symbol of innovation and the awakening of individuality. At this time, visions are born that transcend old systems.

The Sun lights the way, Mercury connects ideas, Venus brings new values, Mars activates actions and Pluto purifies everything. It is a mixture that acts as a powerful shock – old structures are falling apart to make way for the development of technology, artificial intelligence and new forms of freedom. On a personal level, there is an inner break, a desire to throw off masks and a need for authenticity. It is the moment when the Age of Aquarius becomes a reality that we begin to live.

And what does this space ride look like at my home?

This giant concentration of planets flew straight into my fifth house. That's the house of joy, creativity, love, children - and everything we do from the heart. For me, it's a challenge to let go of guarding ourselves. To allow myself to be more playful, free, creative. Less "reasonable" and more alive.

Pluto in my fifth house is uncompromisingly burning away all false modesty and old inhibitions. It's like you feel like you need to change your environment - not just in your apartment, but also inside yourself. And at the same time, your soul whispers to you:

This conjunction is not a „task“ for me. It’s an invitation. And maybe even a bit of a revolution – internal. My creativity is taking on a whole new dimension and I’m finally not afraid to shine like the Goddess who decided her life would be one big, bold work of art.

I should write you some kind of conclusion. But there isn't. Because this is not the end. This is just the BEGINNING.

January 2026 is not just about what's coming. It's about what we open up within ourselves. Maybe it's just a little breeze. Maybe it's a whole tornado. But in either case, one thing is true:

👉 when you feel like being silent – let the silence speak.

Where don't I want to be anymore? What am I missing? And what would I allow myself to do if I weren't afraid?

Maybe on January 3rd you'll write down what's weighing you down - and let it go.
Maybe on January 18th you'll write down three things you want this year to build.
And maybe at the end of the month you'll just know that something has moved inside you. And that's enough.
