Astrological Houses: What Does Your Horoscope Say About You?
Aren't you a typical Taurus? Maybe it's the astrological houses that are to blame! Discover how the signs and planets influence different areas of your life.
Hey girls, are you ready for an astrological adventure?
These aren't houses you'd pay a mortgage on, but they're just as important to understanding your horoscope as the planets themselves.
Imagine your horoscope as a 12-room apartment. Each room, or house, represents a different area of your life—from your self, to your family, relationships, career, and so on. And just as a real apartment might have different furniture (meaning signs and planets) in each room, the astrological houses are populated by signs and planets, which then influence how you will do in that area.
And now for the fun part! Do you have Pisces in your third house? Then you might be communicating intuitively and not worrying about what you say. Or do you have Aquarius in your seventh house? Then you might be falling in love with Aquarians and people with similar personalities! It's like looking into the mirror of your soul!
DISAGREEMENTS AT HOME 😉
Although astrologers agree that they simply cannot do without houses, they sometimes disagree on how exactly these “rooms” are calculated. Several systems have been developed throughout history, and some of them are still used today. So don’t be surprised if another astrologer tells you that your houses are a little different – the differences increase mainly depending on your place of birth. But don’t worry, the first house (Ascendant) usually remains the same, with a few exceptions. The most commonly used systems include Placidus, Koch and Regiomontanus. And then there is the “artificial” system of solar houses, which is mainly used for horoscopes without an exact date, time and place of birth – the ones you find in newspapers or on the internet 😃

And now to the individual rooms of your astrological apartment:
1st House: Your calling card or how the world (and Ascendant!) sees you
This is your first impression, your physical personality. The sign that resides here (the Ascendant) is like a filter that influences how the planets affect you. That is why you are different from people born on the same day but at a different time! It determines how you view life and how others perceive you. The planets in this house have a huge influence on your personality, appearance and overall public appearance. And the status of everyone else also depends on this house.
2nd house: Wallet, possessions, and self-love
This is where your material values and security are addressed. How you handle money, what it means to you, and how you value yourself.
