I’m a woman and a mom. Above all, I’m an Aries! I love the world of magic, video games, rock music, technology, and feminine power.

Imagine being on a rollercoaster – one that pulls you up to the heavens just to throw you down headfirst – welcome to my world! I’m an Aries. Hot-blooded, restless, fiery, and yet absurdly cheerful. Doesn’t make sense? Oh, but it does! With Virgo rising, I get the gift of spotting mistakes everywhere – even in myself. Perfect? Not a chance. Fascinated by imperfections? Absolutely.

My two black cats – magical companions – recharge my life energy. One more and I’ll become Freya, the goddess of love, beauty, and fertility… Although honestly? I might prefer a dog, just to balance out the universe. I have three children I’m incredibly proud of – they’re the best life company I could ever wish for.

Even though the mirror tries to convince me that ...my “-teen” years have long been replaced by “-ties” (as in fifties, sixties…), my soul doesn’t think so. In my head, I still feel like a mischievous girl – only now I have more courage to speak my mind and (usually) more wisdom to say it gracefully.

Aging sometimes gets on my nerves, but I’m still fighting it – I exercise, wear makeup (not enough), explore anti-aging and stocks, and I play computer games. Not Tetris or solitaire – real action stuff that keeps the brain sharp.

Yes, I love people and my girlfriends, but I often (very often!) need to be alone. That divine silence when I hear only myself. I don’t need to talk, just listen to music, write, or play… An introvert in an extrovert’s body – know the feeling? Outwardly wild, inwardly a quiet girl just seeking peace. 😉

I’ve got three grown-up kids I love and am proud of – like every mom! As for partners… maybe I don’t have the best luck. Or maybe my friend Linda is right – I’m just not the relationship type!

This girl opens her own doors. She puts on her coat, hails the cab, lights her own cigarette, and fights her own battles – no man required. Doing it herself just seems faster. Of course, this doesn’t always flatter the fragile male ego.

I’m deeply fascinated by the world around me – I’m interested in everything from politics (which we will firmly avoid on this blog!) to cars! I’ve gone through different life stages: from a shy little girl to a rocker, a passionate gamer (WoW forever!), a phase of magic, rituals, tarot and runes, to studying astrology…

And now?

As I grow older, I’ve become more drawn to longevity, healthy living, nutrition, supplements, and all those beautiful brakes on aging!

I want to age with grace and charm, stay healthy and vibrant for as long as I possibly can. I want to fully enjoy this new chapter of life – and if I can pass on even a bit of my unshakable optimism to other women, that would make me truly happy

I’ve got two terrible habits…

As my friend Dana says: “Oh god, I know you’ve read about it somewhere! Do you really need to know everything?” Well… apparently yes. Some kind of obsession?

Colleague Sandra once told me: “When I need to cry, I call the girls. But when I want the truth – I call you. No sugarcoating, just the plain facts!” Which, to be honest, not everyone sees as a good thing… “Can’t you say it a bit more gently?” Like what??? What’s wrong with saying, “Nope, that really doesn’t suit you!” I just don’t do fluff. She asked if it looked good – I said “No, definitely not!” I can’t do the whole “Yeah, it’s nice, but…” followed by blah blah blah. Well… that’s just me.

Sometimes fate chooses for us. After a serious ankle injury and multiple surgeries, I spent nearly a year mostly at home, barely moving. Instead of falling apart, I started to write. To write about women and for women!

Thanks to artificial intelligence – my unexpected tech-savvy ally – I was able to overcome the early web hurdles and finally start sharing my thoughts with you. I can walk better now, but it's not like before – no more jumping over puddles (and probably never again). But I haven’t lost hope or optimism.

I believe everything has a purpose. Every path leads somewhere. Mine took me from a hectic life full of jobs and obligations… right here – to writing.

And no, I’m not “retirement age” (even though I’ve worked long enough to earn it – paradox, right?). Every job post says: ‘We're a young dynamic team!’ And I’m like – yeah, no thanks.

I created the “Big Girls” blog because it breaks my heart when women my age – beautiful, strong, incredible women – say things like:

“I’m too old for that…”

“I don’t get it anymore…”

“That’s for young people…”

❌ Nope!

write book summaries, news from the world of tech, AI, health, and beauty – because I don’t want women 50+ to suddenly wake up one day and realize they don’t even understand how to use an ATM. Or that they neglected prevention and now suddenly can’t... anything!

I want us to be beautiful, healthy, smart – and yes, a little wild and misunderstood. Because this world, the one trying to overlook us, is still beautiful. And there’s still so much to discover – in it, and in us.

I love books, movies, good coffee, rock music, video games…And my AI (thanks, Tony, for the tech backup!) – with his help, I create this blog.

Yes, I’m a little crazy – and I absolutely love it.

Besides books and rock, I’m fascinated by what lies beyond – astrology, tarot, moon phases, and the cycles of women.
Without I don’t start a day without my lunar calendar – or my AI. One tells me when to plant herbs, the other when to publish an article.
I'm drawn to ancient wisdom that’s survived centuries – and the new kind, coming from chips and algorithms.
Because I believe a woman’s true power lies in that connection – between the stars and the keyboard. between the stars and the keyboard.

Life fascinates me. I love when there's a little magic in it – cards, horoscopes, rituals. Sometimes I stare at the full moon and get emotional over the beauty of the world. Other times, I pour a glass of wine, blast rock music, and just soak in the fact that I'm here, now.

And you know what? I'm grateful. For my family, for the rollercoaster that made me stronger, and for the little mysteries of the universe that keep me curious. “I color my life in pink – my own shade of it.” And I believe that when I’m happy with myself, the rest will align on its own.
